A reminder that prior to every game, umpires are required to check for the following:
Fingernails should be cut short as per the rules.
No jewellery except a wedding ring or Medi-alert bracelet. If either is worn, they MUST be taped.
Please note that under NO circumstances are earrings to be taped. They need to be removed (even if the player just got them pierced).
Hair needs to be suitably tied back.
No hard-brimmed hats/visas are allowed on court
