Trivia Night FAQs
I have more than 10 people wanting to be on our table, can they join our table?
Unfortunately, no. The tables fit 10 people with a bit of a squeeze. If you have extra friends, we can try and put their table near your table so they can still enjoy the night with you.
The other reason is, if your table wins trivia there are only 10 prize bags.
I have a table of 10, can they pay for the table individually?
To make sure your team are on the same table, you must book as a table. This way the event organisers have one person (table coordinator) to communicate with for anything that may happen prior to the event.
We don't have a full table yet – How can we find extra people to fill a table?
First, put a call out to your team groups on WhatsApp. Otherwise, let the events team know and we will try and find the extras for you.
Is there a limited number of tables available?
Yes. We can only have 19 tables of 10 people. So, get in quick to secure your spot!
How do I order my meal?
We are working on some amazing meals for the night. A regular meal and a gluten free vegetarian option. As soon as we have confirmation, we will put a call out to the table coordinators to order the food for your table.
What’s the theme?
This year’s theme is “Shine Bright Like a Diamond”. We all love netball and what is better that our national team the Diamonds! Think outside the Diamond and get creative with your team!
Do I have to dress up?
That is totally up to you. But dressing up to compliment your theme is more than welcomed!
Do I need a team name?
Yes! Think of something fun that suits your theme.
What is table decorating about?
Once you have your team of 10 and have decided on your destination theme, your first challenge is to decorate your table accordingly. The tables will have a tablecloth on them which you can choose to use or not.
The best decorated table will be decided by our host for the night. The winning table will win a prize.
Who packs up the table at the end of the night?
You and your team are responsible for packing up your table at the end of Trivia. We will need to move the tables around to make room for dancing after trivia.
Will there be extra costs one the night?
Yes and No. Your ticket pays for your dinner, a drink, entry into trivia and the entertainment on the night. If you want to join in any of the other games that will be happening on the night you can buy a wristband for $10. The wristband allows you to take part in the mini games, if you win you will get a prize and must remove your wristband. You can always buy another wristband if you want to try again!
Is alcohol being served on the night?
Yes! We have applied for our RSA for the night, and we will have a bar with some wonderful bartenders serving.
Can I buy other drinks on the night?
No, if you want to bring soft drinks you are more than welcome. We will have free water available on the night.
Can I bring my own alcohol on the night?
No. We will be selling alcoholic drinks on the night. There will be free water available too.
Can I bring food on the night?
Yes! As we are only supplying dinner, it can be a long night if no more food is eaten.
Will EFTPOS be available?
Yes! This is actually our only method of payment.
We will have a couple of square terminals where you can purchase wristbands for the extra games.
We will also have the square payment system at the bar.
Can I still pay in cash?
No. This is a cash free event.
Are there going to be prizes on the night?
Yes! There are going to be many prizes up for grabs on the night. The events team have been working hard obtaining so many wonderful prizes.
I have a business and would like to donate a prize; how can I do that?
