Age groups and teams for 2024 are:

NetSetGo! Mini Magpies - for players aged 5-7
NetSetGo! is the national program for children aged 5-7 learning the basics of netball. The program runs on Tuesday afternoons at Hawthorne Parade, Haberfield for 10 weeks during the regular season. $109 season fee.

Modified teams - For players aged 8 & 9
Modified teams are aged 8 & 9 and play modified rules. This helps young players become accustomed to the game of netball without the competition element. Games are played on grass courts, and scores are not kept. $172 season fee.

Junior teams - for players aged 10-15
Junior teams are aged 10-15. These teams play on hard courts on Saturday mornings, with full rules. There is a variety of grades for players at all levels of experience. $216 season fee (except for U9 players playing U10, which is $204)
Cadets - for players aged 16 & 17
Cadets are teams aged 16 &17. They play the Senior afternoon timeslots against other Cadet-aged teams. $216 season fee.

Seniors - for players 18+
Seniors’ teams are aged 18+. The club has a wide range of teams in all divisions from A - C grade. Some teams play for the social aspect, while others are competitive. Senior timeslots have traditionally been 12:30pm, 1:50pm, and 3:10pm, however this may change due to court availability. $247 season fee.

Mixed netball participation is increasing in the Inner West Netball Association. Boys up to the age of 12 can play in their own age group. Boys turning 13 are eligible for mixed or all male competitions depending on what competition is being run by the IWNA.
Please let us know if you are hoping to join a mixed netball team.

Training for Modified Teams, Junior Teams and Cadet Teams takes place on Tuesday afternoon at Hawthorne Parade with times confirmed after teams are finalised. Game times will also be confirmed after teams are finalised, but all games are played at the Cintra Park netball courts in Five Dock on Saturdays and are at the same time all season.
